NAIL TECHNOLOGY Certificate II

WHO IS THE COURSE AIMED AT?

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in interacting with customers, providing manicure and pedicare services, applying acrylic or gel nail enhancement, and applying nail art.
Work would be undertaken in the nail technology stream of the beauty industry.
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of persons who perform a prescribed range of functions, involving known routines and procedures and with some accountability for the quality of outcomes.

 

 

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

DURATION OF COURSE:
One day per week within the Spring Commercial Salon
Training will be face to face, and a mix of practical and theory
 

PATHWAY

After completing the Certificate II, participants can continue onto the Certificate II in Retail Make-Up and Skin Care or Certifcate III in Beauty Services.
Courses are offered on a roll on/roll off basis throughout the year. This qualification can be accessed through a traineeship.
In this Nationally Recognised qualification you will achieve all the relevant skills to set you on a career the Beauty industry.
 

PREREQUISITES

There are no prerequisites – just a willingness or passion to becoming a Nail Technician.  You will also need to:
Be well presented, be practical and well organised, and be committed to the programme as we demand high standards of attendance, time-keeping and dedication.
