HAIRDRESSING Certificate III

WHO IS THIS COURSE AIMED AT?


School leavers, returning to the workforce or someone who has already part completed this course through Recognition of Prior Learning- This course can only be completed in WA as an Apprenticeship.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Working as part of a team in a hairdressing environment, communication skills, customer service techniques, selling products and services, colouring hair, cutting hair and designing and applying a broad range of technical hairdressing services on clients.

 

 

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?

A Certificate III in Hairdressing Trade certificate that is Nationally Recognised throughout Australia and New Zealand.  You will be recognised as a fully qualified Hairdresser

We can assist in finding you an Apprenticeship if you are a school leaver or an Adult learner close to home or within the Perth CBD.
Spring have close links to salons throughout the Perth area.
Securing an Apprenticeship:
For Australian residents in Western Australia YOU MUST complete Certificate III Hairdressing qualification through an Apprenticeship pathway.
You must first gain employment in a hairdressing salon willing to register you with APPRENTICENTRE (Department of Workplace Training and Development) as an Apprentice.
The Government of W.A  Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) does not allow full time institutionally based Certificate III in Hairdressing training to Australian residents except to International studentson a student visa
When signing the contract agreement with an Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC), the employer and/ or apprentice will nominate a Registered Training Provider Spring Into Training Company to deliver on and off the job training
This course is funded by the The Government of W.A  Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD)
Apprenticeship term: 3 Years

Vocational course duration:  2 Years - 1 Day per week within the Spring Salon or
the course can be completed within your current employers Salon - On the job training, so no need attend Full time or Part-time institutional training. You will recieve hands-on training
Course Fees are for 12 months tuition and are inclusive of learning manuals and resources. Tuition fees may vary according to any units of competence being credit transferred.
No need to pay fees upfront- Fees are charged on commencement of unit(s)
It is a requirement of your training that you provide your own stationary and hairdressing equipment. Hairdressing kits can be purchased at Spring Into Training *subect to availability, contents may vary.
